Polypropylene Putting Greens

Action Polypropylene putting greens simulate real golf course greens. They have two thicknesses, 1/2” and 3/4” turf. Our True Roll technology is the same for both turf thicknesses. Many of our customers feel the polypropylene material to be the best synthetic putting turf in the industry.

The golf ball rolls on the tips of the polypropylene turf creating the same roll you get on the golf course. And of course, you never have to mow, but then you knew that. Polypropylene greens must be filled with sand. You could fill with ground rubber or coal slag, but sand does a much better job of preventing the fibers from matting. We recommend 1 to 2 pounds of sand per square foot of our 1/2” polypropylene green material. 2-3 pounds of sand per square foot of our 3/4” green material. The sand slides between the fibers offering superb fiber support and exceptional golf ball roll. We’ll repeat that……exceptional roll.
