Action polypropylene turfs are manufactured from the most advanced and durable synthetic polypropylene turf. Each fiber is ultraviolet treated and engineered to withstand the damaging effects of nature. Action greens are excellent putting green turfs because they simulate golf course greens.  1/2" turf has true ball roll and excellent putting characteristics. Best for chip shots from less than 25 yards.

The 1/2" Performance is the easiest polypropylene turf to install and, when it is properly installed, the ball rolls on the tips of the turf creating the same roll you get on the golf course. You can fill your putting green with sand, rubber, or coal slag. We recommend sand because polypropylene fibers will not stand up on their own, and the sand works best to stand the fibers up straight and keep the fibers from matting. 1 to 2 pounds of sand are needed for each square foot of the 1/2" turf.
